Scicli, small villa with veranda and panoramic terrace

And here we are in beautiful Sicily in the southernmost part of our incomparable peninsula and precisely in Scicli.
Today our proposal is a cottage surrounded by the countryside that smells of citrus.
We start the visit by enjoying cannoli in the chairs on the large veranda, here, listening to the distant lapping of the waves, we can relax while looking at the countryside in which we are immersed and in the background the splendid sea of Sicily. The large dimensions are not casual, at this time we eat, relax and read a good book, it is an added room in which to welcome guests and friends, and to live for most of the year sheltered from the roof pitch.
On the veranda overlooking all the rooms and the two glass doors we enter directly into the living room,
To our right is one of the two double bedrooms while at the front a couple of steps lead us to the kitchen where you can also access it from the outside through another entrance, but everyone, as already mentioned, will stop with us on the veranda. The kitchen is lit by a skylight on the terrace which we will visit later.
A first bathroom with window and shower is on the same level as the kitchen, while the second, always with window, but with bathtub, is in the sleeping area.
On the right side of the living room we find the door that leads to the sleeping area, a long corridor giving access to the utility room and to the other two bedrooms, one double and one double, both facing the sea.
This house conveys the calm typical of the countryside, of the warm days of the south, where life is marked by slow rhythms, by long naps after having tasted some fresh granitas. But the countryside soon leaves room for the sea, in a few minutes, both on foot and by car, we can reach the water and the beaches of Sampieri, Il Trippatore and La Mananra.
From the veranda we can reach the garage, over 30 sqm on the ground floor and an additional space in the attic, for our car, the bikes, the bikes and what we need to store.
If you ask yourself at home you need an external staircase the answer is soon given, a terrace above the apartment, a charming space with a 360 degree view to be enriched with succulents and protected with a flowery pergola and enjoy as you please.
