Description

Large living spaces, tranquillity and sun, are the three main characteristics of this single house located in the town of Trento in the village of Gardolo di Mezzo.

Not everyone knows the charm of this small village on the hill east to the north of Trento, and even the name of the street where is located the house “via Dos de La Luna” brings to mind something magical. Even in the past, it was chosen as a place to live, so much so that there are traces of settlements dating back to 400o a.c., witnessed by the findings brought to light during the excavations carried out in 2003.

The house, located in the small town centre, stands on a plot of about 650 square meters occupying about 1/4, is rectangular with a simple but pleasant architecture typical of the 80s when the house was built.

It is spread over three floors, in addition to a part of the basement where two large rooms have been created for a total of about 50 square meters usable as a cellar and basement room.

On the ground floor, we find the first apartment, which is accessed directly from the stairs. Internally it is in excellent condition having been the subject of recent modernization works and the finishes are of a good standard. It consists of a large entrance overlooking the living area, a rectangular area where currently are on one side the kitchen area and the other the dining table, but where, given the size, it would be possible to create an open space with living room and cooking area united.

In the sleeping area, we find two large rooms, both with wooden boards floor, the bathroom, equipped with both a tub and a shower, a storage room and a wide lobby on which overlooking all the entrance doors to the various rooms.

Also on this floor, we find the boiler room a service bathroom and a large garage of over 20 square meters, heated and even paved in marble.

The main apartment is on the first floor occupying it all, the internal division, typical of the years of construction of the house, provides a large atrium on which overlook all the doors of the various rooms that make up the apartment, all very large and regular shape well lit by large windows and French windows.

We therefore find a large living room, a kitchen, three large bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower a tub and a windowed. From the living room and from the kitchen it is possible to go out on the balcony that takes two sides from the house, the one to the south and the one to the west deep enough to be used even during the rainy days because it is sheltered by the sloping roof.

Internally it is in good condition, therefore potentially habitable immediately. Finishing materials, floors, doors, coatings etc. but they are those dating back to the 80/90 so even though it is very well kept all the apartment needs a revisiting for an adaptation to the aesthetic and technical canons of modern living.

The last floor of the house, reflects the structure of the first floor, even here on a large lobby overlooking 4 rooms in addition to the bathroom. The particularity and certainly the exposed roof and the interior heights, given the sloping, allow full use only of the central part but still the various rooms present lend themselves to multiple uses.

A typical feature of single houses is certainly the presence of the garden and even this case is no exception. It develops on all 4 sides and has the greatest depth on the south side, where a small vegetable garden is currently being cultivated, partly paved in porphyry and partly in green and an area sheltered under the balcony of the first-floor apartment.

Given the spaces, the dimensions and the potential the house is ideal for a large family or two families where all the components can get their environment in absolute privacy.
