B & B in wonderful renovated farmhouse

Maso Fradea, proper name of the estate standing for “Farm-house Fradea”, is located in the middle of unspoilt nature and benefits from its breathtaking views of the Eastern Dolomites.

The property is set on an ancient mountain farm dating back to the 19th century. Now completely restored and surrounded by 5600 sqm of land, it is currently used as a B&B, which is the reason why the spaces are structured and organized according to the characteristics of a touristic accommodation, but – the attention given to design during the realization of the building – allows one to evaluate the division into multiple housing units.

It is built on three levels; the basement has a surface of 480 sqm and accomodates 18 rooms and 9 bathrooms.
On the ground floor we find a beautiful and spacious hall with the reception desk, a kitchen and a large and bright breakfast room. Behind the reception desk, in reserved position, is a first room. The ground floor also disposes of an apartment with the possibility of an independent entrance. Here we can see a living- and kitchen-area and two large double bedrooms, each served by their respective bathroom.

A wooden staircase leads to the top floor, where there are three beautiful bedrooms – again, each with its own bathroom. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, furnished in modern style in a way that creates a pleasant contrast to the classical structure of the Maso and well fits the attic where the beautiful solid wood roofing beams stand out.

A note about the basement, which is divided into several areas: tavern for parties and dinners, wellness, recreation and service. It consists of a large lounge with two huge tables and wooden benches that can accommodate up to 30 people sitting, a well-equipped traditional kitchen area and a characteristic wood-burning kitchen. The wellness area is a large and well-groomed place where one can relax by taking the sauna or indulging in a massage in an ad hoc space with soft music and lights. The play area is a playroom with soft carpets for children, games for the little ones and even for adults with table soccer and darts. The service spaces consist of a large laundry room with more washing machines and dryers, a bathroom, a large pantry and a technical compartment.

The farm is sold including the furnishings of all three floors, which are all custom-made, well-kept and of excellent quality and good taste.

The Maso is located in Fradea, in the commune of Tesino, a side valley of Valsugana, in the province of Trento, on the Eastern Dolomites at the border with Feltrino. It lays at an altitude of 1,000 meters above sea level, is both a summer and winter tourist resort and is located five minutes from the centre of Castello Tesino and a few minutes by car from the ski slopes of Brocon.

Castel Tesino, located in the southern area of the Dolomites and close to the Valsugana, is surrounded by the Lagorai chain, dominated by the Cima d’Asta, the highest mountain in the area. Compared to the nearby valleys, it has remained an intact and unspoiled place, where large forests and ancient pastures still lie, leaving little room for urban settlements. In fact, the Tesino area is the ideal starting point for walks and excursions thanks to the presence of the largest forests in Trentino.

The Maso can be used during all seasons of the year thanks to the endless activities that can be done; let us picture: the numerous hiking-, mountain bike- and trekking- trails; that one could make a climbing gym or exploit the always-extending woods and numerous meadows for orienteering and adventurous activities; infinite streams and alpine lakes for sports fishing – or grilling a good trout on a summer’s day in the garden with mountain view.

During the winter one can enjoy downhill skiing, cross-country skiing and snowboarding, even at night, at the Passo Brocon ski resort and the ski lifts of Lagorai cableway with the Italian Ski School Lagorai.

There are also numerous hiking trails in nature where you can go hiking with snowshoes, such as the Brocon Pass, Chalet Paradiso or Malga Tolva.

It is also not far from the famous Tesino Golf Club, a 9-hole golf course, located at the foot of the Lagorai chain and immersed in the peace and silence of the plateau, with a length of 2770 meters.
